Joe is also now affiliated with Foundations Atlanta in Roswell, GA (part of the Foundations Treatment Network), an out-patient treatment facility designed for continuing treatment of addictive and dual-diagnosed illnesses.  Services include psychiatric assessment and treatment; ambulatory detox via Suboxone and other medications; and out-patient treatment of alcohol dependency via Vivitrol; and an injection of Naltrexone which helps to control cravings and to maintain sobriety during early recovery. 

Joe strongly suggests use of Vivitrol to help control cravings for alcohol, and will make arrangements for a six- to nine-month course of treatment.

Joe also recommends consideration of Execucare of Atlanta, an out-patient program designed for detox from multiple chemicals in lieu of in- or out-patient detox using natural methods of amino acids.  Payment is expected at the time of treatment.

Although Dr. Griffin does not accept insurance per se, he will assist you in getting reimbursed.  He is not on any insurance panels, so you will need to check for out-of-network benefits.  Services are offered on a fee-for-service basis, and on a sliding scale for certain fees.  Payment through PayPal is encouraged.
