Ambulatory Detox

AMBULATORY DETOXIFICATION is an alternative to in-patient hospitalization, allowing an addict to get on the road to recovery safely and efficiently. Alcohol, opioid, and benzodiazepine dependencies often require protracted hospital stays, but recent technological development have allowed addicts to become medically stable on a closely monitored out-patient basis.

Alcohol Dependency - detox via LIBRIUM / THIAMINE and the on-going use of CAMPRAL and / or REVIA for 6-9 months to control cravings.

Opioid Dependency - Detox via SUBOXONE and Subutex. Maintenance is an occasional option, and the on-going use of NALTREXONE to control cravings.

Benzodiazepine Dependency - dependency via using longer-acting Benzo (Klonopin) to substitute shorter-acting ones (XANAX / ATIVAN).

Cocaine dependency - detox via use of MONDAFIL (PROVIGIL) or BROMOCRIPTINE (PARLODEL).

Amphetamine dependency - detox via use of PROVIGIL.

Hallucinogen dependency

All dependencies can now be managed in the least-restrictive out-patience environment. Early recovery oftentimes uncovers undiagnosed depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders which are treated here.

Recovery also entails dealing with emerging issues through psychotherapy with Dr. David Gore who has Buckhead and Roswell offices.

Ambulatory detox requires a higher level of motivation for treatment and recovery. A psychiatric evaluation can assess if you are a candidate for ambulatory detox. Request services by phone or e-mail today!
